Wynne Lewis was born in a small village in Wales. Just before entering national service with the RAF, he heard the call of God. In the course of his ministry he started 4 churches, served as the Evangelism and Home Mission’s director ol Elim. In 1980 he became the senior minister at Kensington Temple. During his time there the church grew to over 5000 people, and over 100 churches were started throughout London.
He went on to serve for 8 years as the General Superintendent of the Elim Pentecostal Church. After his official retirement in 1999, he continued ministering in churches and leadership conferences across the world and in one-to-one mentoring of church and business leaders. He died in Paris, France on March 24th 2009, whilst returning from a leadership conference. He is greatly missed, but his legacy lives on in countless lives.
